Our monthly recurring management service is designed to take the stress away from running a VPS service. Let us take care of installing and configuring your systems while you focus on creating your VPS in SolusVM and running your business. If you have any issues whether its something in SolusVM, a VPS won't start or your server has crashed, just open a ticket and one of our technicians will reply day or night, 365 days a year.

No limits on Admin time, only limited by the number of servers covered
Full support for any issues with your host OS, virtualization technology and SolusVM
Support for any issues inside VPS (related to virtualization only) e.g. Filesystem issues, /dev issues, kernel module issues
General maintenance and updates carried out on request
Installation and configuration of SolusVM Masters
Installation and configuration of SolusVM slaves with OpenVZ, Xen or KVM
Migrations of VPS from one server to another

Is this pro-active?

This is a request based service by default, to have any work carried out you are required to submit a ticket or email to our helpdesk system. It goes without saying that if there is a critical Linux kernel vulnerability for example, we will announce this and patch all systems as quickly as possible.

We can offer a proactive management service for an additional £30/Month which includes regular health/maintenance checks, load monitoring and full access to our operating system collections and kernels.

How much does it cost?

£20/Month+ £10/Month per SolusVM Slave [Order Here]

Bulk discount is possible for large volumes of Slaves. To prevent abuse on server installation + configurations, we require the first payment of 2 months upfront, followed by month-to-month from then onwards.

We offer a number of one-time services offering installation, upgrades and migrations. Prices reflect our hourly rates, customers who use our services reguarly may be eligible for discounts.

Additional Information on Virtualization Technologies

We support/reccomend the following technologies on the following operating systems only:

* OpenVZ - CentOS 5, CentOS6, RHEL5, RHEL6
* Xen - CentOS 5, RHEL5. (We can install Xen on CentOS6/RHEL6 but not reccomended)
* KVM = CentOS 6, RHEL6 (We currently don't support KVM but we will very soon!)

Note: We do not reccomend or support use of Scientific Linux (SL5/SL6) as there are differences in both the kernel and other packages against RHEL/CentOS.

We will install and configure a SolusVM Master on a VPS or Dedicated server, including:

Setup of two OS templates or ISO images
Initial setup of IP pool for your IP range (if applicable)
Initial setup of a SSL certificate (requires SSL from e.g. RapidSSL)
Removal of Unnecessary services
Hardening of temporary directories and dangerous system binaries
Hardening of the SSH service e.g. non-direct root login via wheel user (On request)
Tweaking of SolusVM security settings
WHMCS automation module, configuration assistance (We'll install the module and create + test some demo packages

Assistance with installing/reinstalling the OS if necesary with your datacenter (Additional fees may apply)

We will check your existing SolusVM slave to ensure everything is running optimally including:

Checking system logfiles for any issues, and manually rotating these if necesarry
Checking system vitals e.g. CPU usage, Disk I/O usage, Hard Disk/RAID Array health
Identify any VPS using particular high CPU or Disk I/O
Install all available updates for your operating system
Update the relavent virtualization packages (For Xen we always deploy the latest Xen.org version, RPM based)
